- Position: Dairy Farm Assistant (2 Vacancies)
- Location: Eyrewell Forest, Canterbury
- Farm Size: 320 effective hectares (fully irrigated via pivot systems)
- Industry: Dairy Farming / Agriculture
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Roster: 5 days on, 2 days off (outside calving season)
- Farm Operation: Modern, technology-supported dairy unit
Core Responsibilities – Ngā Kawenga Takohanga
- Support milking routines and daily herd care
- Monitor animal wellbeing and report any issues
- Assist with feed allocation and pasture planning
- Carry out general farm maintenance tasks
- Operate tractors, farm bikes, and other equipment
- Utilise and adapt to farm technologies such as Halter
- Maintain safe and organised workspaces
- Promote a respectful and team-driven work culture

- Background in dairy farming or livestock handling
- Knowledge of pasture and feed systems
- Confidence operating agricultural machinery
